Our Church

Waitsburg is a small community in southeastern Washington state located in the center of several other small communities (Dixie, Dayton, and Prescott). Waitsburg is also within a short driving distance of Starbuck, Pomeroy, Walla Walla, and Tri-Cities.

Waitsburg First Christian Church is a source of connection for people and ministries in this agricultural valley referred to as the Touchet Valley.

Our History

We are a non-denominational church that is recognized by the state of WA as a Historic Church, established in 1880. In 1905 church members built our current building without any debt incurred.

Over the years, various updating and remodeling projects have helped to keep it as a valuable resource for the ministry and fellowship of the church.

The latest major project restored stained glass windows, which contribute light and beauty to worship services in our sanctuary. We also recently updated our electrical and HVAC systems.

Waitsburg Christian Church

Our congregation is old enough to have outlived its founders, but many current members have generational roots in our church family (and they can tell lots of stories!).

We have a long tradition of community service.  We are eager to share what we experience as life-giving truth, living out our faith in ministry to our community and our world. We hope you’ll join us.
